As an IT Professional & Computer Scientist in the role of Clinical Technologist inside the Medical Physics Department, I am tasked with leading several projects and the management of the Critical Medical Physics & Radiotherapy IT infrastructure, ensuring that the IT Service meets the demands of the Radiotherapy and Oncology Department. This also includes providing 3rd line support for clinical systems which are critical to the operation of multi-million pound equipment such as Linear Accelerators and the delivery of radiotherapy to patients.

My main achievements include:
• Migrating critical applications / servers on to a Virtualisation Platform
• Implementing a Disaster Recovery Solution

• Participating in the T-HIP (Teesside Health Innovation Partnership) & Teesside University SCM to use Computer Science to benefit patient care (VR,AI)
